An Assortment of English and European Ceramics Including Wedgwood, Royal Worcester, and Hertel Jacob A collection of approximately 30 pieces of English and European ceramics, comprising both porcelain and earthenware items. The lot includes a cream-coloured oval platter by Wedgwood in the Cornflower pattern, marked for Etruria, England, with the code AK.8023.TP and impressed number 0143. A French Terre de Fer earthenware plate features a central blue monogram DC or CD and a transfer-printed border depicting hunting scenes with hares and foliage; the reverse bears a blue printed ribbon mark for 17 Rue Drouot, Paris, with the initials EB and a diamond registration mark. A pair of porcelain ramekins by Royal Worcester are decorated with fluted gold-gilt exteriors and bear factory marks to the base. Teacups and saucers by Hertel Jacob of Bavaria, Germany, feature classical mythological-style scenes to the interior bowls and are marked with a green stag stamp. The group also contains a large white octagonal tureen, a large octagonal pitcher with a stepped base, a Japanese-style Imari palette dish with scalloped edges, and two bowls decorated with an orange and yellow nasturtium pattern. Further items include small fruit-decorated bowls marked with a grey W or M diamond, a green leaf-shaped dish, a Welsh transfer-printed cup and saucer titled Market Day Wales, and a rectangular lidded trinket box with a poppy and morning glory floral spray.
