A Set of Five Vintage Gilt-Rimmed Nautical Drinking Glasses Featuring Danish Sailing Ships A set of five mid-20th-century clear glass drinking vessels consisting of two distinct forms: two tapered shot glasses and three footed cordial glasses. Each vessel is decorated with a polychrome transfer-printed motif depicting a three-masted sailing ship at sea. The ships prominently fly the Danish national flag, the Dannebrog, from the stern and masts, accompanied by red and yellow pennants. The glasses are further embellished with gilt decoration to the rims and a secondary gold band around the foot or base. The footed glasses feature flared conical bowls supported by stepped stems and circular bases. Height of tapered glasses: approximately 5 cm – 7 cm Height of footed glasses: approximately 5 cm.
