A Collection of Nine Pieces of Vintage Cut Crystal and Decorative Pressed Glassware including a Silver-Mounted Claret Jug A diverse assortment of decorative glassware and lead crystal comprising various serving pieces and table accessories. The collection features a tall claret jug with a tapered glass body in a diamond-cut pattern, fitted with a silver-coloured or silver-plated mount. The mount includes a hinged lid with a pointed finial, a pouring spout, and an ornate C-scroll handle decorated with foliate motifs; stamped marks are present on the collar but are not clearly legible. Also included is a heavy lead crystal spirits decanter of square section, featuring deep geometric cuts including diamond cross-hatching and radiating fan motifs, complete with a matching square stopper. A flared vase of four-lobed form displays swirling vertical ribs and a heavy base. The group further includes various bowls and dishes: a circular bowl with a pinwheel or star and fan cutting pattern; a large pressed glass serving bowl featuring a central sunburst and fleur-de-lis designs; a three-sectioned divided relish dish with a scalloped rim and teardrop pattern; an oval dish with vertical pillar ribbing and a central diamond-cut lozenge; a circular plate with a fine all-over diamond pattern and scalloped rim; and a small round bowl with deep diamond-cut sides and a starburst base. No maker's signatures or acid-etched marks were identified on the glass bases.
