A LATE 19TH CENTURY GILT-CASED GRAND SONNERIE REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH DAY/DATE having a gilt case with bevelled glass panels and swing handle, enclosing a signed enamel dial above three subsidiary dials for day, alarm and date, fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement chiming and repeating the hours and quarters on two gongs, with strike selection lever to the underside.
