LITVINOV & HULL: LITVINOV MAXIM (1876-1961) Russian Revolutionary, Soviet Ambassador to the United States 1941-43 & HULL CORDELL (1871-1955) American Politician, United States Secretary of State 1933-44. Nobel Peace Prize winner, 1945. A good vintage signed sepia 9.5 x 7.5 photograph by both Litvinov and Hull individually, the image depicting the two men seated in half length poses together at a table. Photograph by Harris and Ewing. Signed by Litvinov and Hull in bold fountain pen inks with their names alone to clear areas of the background. Rare in this form. Some very light, extremely minor traces of former mounting to the verso, otherwise VG Provenance: The present photograph was previously part of the famous collection built by Rev. Cornelius Greenway of Brooklyn, New York, and loosely contained in a plain paper folder bearing his pencil annotations (and those of others).
