LE VERRIER URBAIN: (1811-1877) French Astronomer and Mathematician. Best known for predicting the existence and position of Neptune using only mathematics. His discovery is widely regarded as a validation of celestial mechanics. A.L.S., `Le Verrier´, one page, 8vo, Paris, n.d., Wednesday, on the Imperial Observatory printed stationery, in French.
