[PHILIP IV]: (1605-1665) King of Spain 1621-65 and King Philip III of Portugal 1621-40. D.S., with a stamped signature, (`Yo el Rey´), one page, 4to, Madrid, 30th September 1664, to Rodrigo de Borja Lanzol, Lieutenant and Captain General of the Kingdom of Mallorca, in Spanish. Philip IV refers to a previous letter sent last March 12th to former Captain General of Mallorca, Count of Plasencia, regarding the claims received from citizens of the foreign outlands reporting the difficulties in picking crops because of Sargent Gaspar Domenech bothering them. With several countersignatures at the foot and a paper seal affixed to the verso. Very small paper loss to the edge and corner not affecting the text or signature. G £100-150
