WILDER BILLY: (1906-2002) Austrian-American film director, Academy Award winner. Vintage signed 9.5 x 8 photograph of Wilder seated in a three-quarter length pose alongside actor Erich von Stroheim as they engage in conversation on the set of the war film Five Graves to Cairo (1943) in which Stroheim portrayed Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. Signed by Wilder in black ink with his name alone to a clear area at the head of the image. VG
