ROMERO GEORGE A.: (1940-2017) American-Canadian Filmmaker and Writer. Known as the “Father of the Zombie Film”, he is often regarded as a pioneer of the horror film genre and a major contributor to the image of the zombie after his Night of the Living Dead series.
