ROBERTS RACHEL: (1927-1980) Welsh actress, an Academy Award nominee. Vintage signed and inscribed 7.5 x 9.5photograph of Roberts seated outdoors in a three-quarter length pose in conversation with producer Karel Reisz on the set of the British kitchen sink drama film This Sporting Life (1963). Signed by Roberts in fountain pen ink to the image. It was for her performance as Margaret Hammond in this film that Roberts was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar. Scarce. VG
