A good T.L.S., `Giorgio Morandi´, one page, 4to, Bologna, 9th February 1958, to Doctor Jose Gomez Sicre, chief of Visual Arts of Union Panamericana in Washington, in Italian. Morandi states in part `Ho ricevuto la Sua lettera coll´accluso ritaglio del “Diario de Sao Paulo” che reproduce uno dei miei dipinti esposti allá Biennale di San Paulo. Mi e giunto molto gradito e La ringrazio vivamente. Con piacere riceveró la revista “America” che mi annunzia´ (“I received your letter with the enclosed clipping from the “Diario de Sao Paulo” which reproduces one of my paintings exhibited at the San Paulo Biennale.
