HOCKNEY DAVID: (1937- ) British Painter, Printmaker and stage Designer. One of the most influential British artists of the 20th century. In 1972 his work Portrait of an Artist became the most expensive painting by a living artist sold at auction. A good signed 10 x 8 colour photograph by Hockney, the image showing the British artist in a half-length pose at the MOCA museum in Los Angeles, before the exhibited work “The Grand Canyon Looking North II, September 1982”, during the “David Hockney Retrospective Ohotoworks”. Signed in bold black ink to the clear bottom left corner of the image. EX
