SADAT ANWAR: (1918-1981) President of Egypt 1970-81, and Prime Minister of Egypt 1973-74, 1980-81. Nobel Peace Prize winner, 1978. Assassinated. Signed commemorative cover issued in honour of Sadat and Menachem Begin being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Post marked at Jerusalem, 10th December 1978. Signed by Sadat in black ink to a clear area of the cover. Together with Henry Kissinger (1923- ) German-born American politician and diplomat, United States Secretary of State 1973-77, Nobel Peace Prize winner, 1973. Signed commemorative cover featuring a colour design of an aircraft in flight and with the printed caption El'-Al on Cairo's Skies, post marked as flown on an El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Cairo, 13th December 1977. Signed by Kissinger in black ink with his name alone to a clear area, one postal cancellation only very slightly affecting the signature. VG to EX, 2
