LAUE MAX VON: (1879-1960) German Physicist. Nobel Prize in Physics, 1914. T.L.S., `M. Laue´, one page, 4to, Zurich, 5th February 1914, to a colleague, in German. Von Laue invites his correspondent and wife for dinner at home and points out `We will be together, only us, and we will be able to discuss about our professional matters without being interrupted. I would like to see your photograms´. Von Laue further explains that he will be the day after at the Institute where he can send his response. With two file holes to the left edge only affecting one word, not the signature. A good letter signed short before receiving his Nobel award. VG
