ARMSTRONG NEIL: (1930-2012) American astronaut, Commander of Apollo XI (1969). The first man to walk on the moon. Signed Commemorative cover honouring man's third flight to the moon with Apollo XI and featuring portraits of the three crew members, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. A US postage stamp commemorating Apollo 8 is affixed to the cover and postally cancelled at Cape Canaveral, 16th July 1969, the date of the historic Apollo XI launch. Signed by Armstrong in bold black ink with his name alone to a clear area. About EX
