LENNON JOHN: (1940-1980) English singer and musician, co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles. Ink signature ( ‘John Lennon’) and date, 1972, in his hand on a slim oblong 12mo slip of pink paper, further annotated with the date 25 th June 1972 in pencil in the hand of a collector to the upper right corner. Stapled at the edges to a blue card featuring an irregularly cut circular portrait of Lennon etc. Framed and glazed in a modern black frame to an overall size of 7.5 x 5.5. About VG
