CURRAN SAMUEL: (1912-1998) British physicist who participated in the Manhattan Project to develop the atomic bomb during World War II. T.L.S., Samuel Curran, one page, 4to, George Street, Glasgow, 1st November 1973, to Mr. A. Nelson Taylor, on the printed stationery of the University of Strathclyde. Curran states that it was kind of his correspondent to have written after having read one of Curran's publications ( 'only I am not quite sure which you have read and it would interest me a great deal to know this') and further remarks 'It is always encouraging to hear from someone like yourself and I thank you very much indeed for your best wishes'. One very small, extremely minor tear to the left edge and a few light creases, otherwise VG
