[AUTOGRAPH COLLECTING]: CHARAVAY NOEL: (1861-1932) French bookseller and authority on autographs, a member of the famous Charavay family. A.L.S., Noel Charavay, one page, 8vo, Paris, 19th March 1931, to a gentleman, on the printed stationery of Maison Charavay (´Autographes et Documents Historiques´), in French. Charavay writes, in full, ´La piece est ecrite et signee au bas par Goethe, vous pouvez en etre certain´ (Translation: ´The piece is written and signed at the bottom by Goethe, you can be sure of that´).
