JOHN PAUL I: (1912-1978) Pope of the Roman Catholic Church in 1978. Born Albino Luciani. His 33 days reign is one of the shortest in papal history. A good A.N.S., `+C. Luciani´, to a 6 x 4 card, Venice, 2nd March 1976, in Italian. The card bears the red printed heading of Cardinal Luciani ''Il Card. Albino Luciani - Patriarca di Venezia''. The autograph blessing in the hand of John Paul I states `Ringrazio vivam. Benedicendo´ (''Thank you very much. Blessing''). EX £600-900
