Dumas states `I was waiting for you yesterday my friend, the noise, the fuss, the screams, guided me towards the Louvre. In short, at your service now and always. Fraternity.´ With blank address leaf. VG £120-200 Alexandre Bixio (1808-1865) French Doctor and Balloonist. French Minister of agriculture and commerce under Napoleon III. On 21st and 22nd December 1830 and because of the trial against the ministers of King Charles X, important riots took place in Paris.
