DE BROGLIE LOUIS-VICTOR: (1892-1987) French Theoretical Physicist. Nobel Prize for Physics, 1929. A.L.S, Louis de Broglie, two pages, 8vo, Neuilly sur Seine, 16th January 1943, in French. De Broglie explains `I have been very happy learning the good results of 1942 for the sale of Matiere et Lumiere and of Continu et Discontinu.´ further saying `I have been told by André George that you were asking permission to the censorship committee to authorize a new issue of Continu et Discontinu. I am myself a member of this committee and I think there will be no difficulty about this..´ EX £150-200 Matiere et Lumiere (1937) and Continu e Discontinu (1941) are two works by De Broglie.
