Lot of two woodcuts by Hermann Fechenbach (1897-1986) *Old Jewish Man, 1922, 17X12 cm, signed in pencil and dated. *Allegorical print, 1922, 29X40 cm, signed in pencil and dated. On the lower part appear scenes from the book of Genesis. On the right – a praying Jew and on the left – a pioneer with a shovel. In the center -a beaming Star of David, a crown, Menorah and medallions with symbolic illustrations; ceremonies concerning the holiness of Shabbath and a prophecy by Isiah. Flaws (stains, small holes to print edges). Not examined outside of frame.
