Two Stone Trinket Boxes including One Hand Painted Alabaster - Two vintage stone trinket boxes of circular form with domed lids and metal hardware. The first box is crafted from a cream-colored, translucent stone consistent with alabaster or onyx. The lid features a hand-painted floral spray consisting of a central pink rose flanked by smaller purple and pink blossoms with green foliage. This box is fitted with a brass-toned metal rim and a rear hinge. The second box is composed of a mottled green and white hardstone, exhibiting natural veining throughout. It is also fitted with a brass-toned metal rim and hinge and is elevated on three small, rounded brass-toned bun feet. No maker marks, signatures, or country of origin stamps are visible on either piece.
