A Set of Midwinter Roselle Pattern Ceramic Tableware - This English earthenware set features the Roselle pattern produced by Midwinter. The collection consists of cups, saucers, a creamer, and a lidded sugar bowl. The decoration is a stylized floral transfer print composed of four-petaled blue flowers on green stems with small leaves. The cups, creamer, and sugar bowl have an off-white ground, while the saucers and the lid of the sugar bowl are finished in a solid, vibrant blue glaze. The cups are designed with a slightly tapered, cylindrical form and simple loop handles. The saucers have a flat profile with a shallow rim. The creamer includes a wide pouring lip and a loop handle, and the cylindrical sugar bowl features a notched lid to accommodate a spoon. The underside of the saucers (photo 4) bears a printed mark in sans-serif capital letters reading MIDWINTER over ENGLAND.
