Amudei Gola, Sefer Mitzvot Katan (Semak) by R. Yitzchak (Isaac) of Corbeil. Liadi: Baruch, Yitzchak and Moshe Segal, [1805].
Approbations by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya, and R. Chanoch Henich Shick of Shklov. This is one of the few approbations of the Ba'al HaTanya to ever be printed.

This is the only Hebrew book printed in Liadi, Ba'al HaTanya's home town. More about the Liadi printing house, see: Friedberg, Toldot HaDfus HaIvri B'Polania [History of Jewish Printing in Poland], p. 137.


Inked stamp by R. "Yehuda Leib Estrin - Shchedrin, Minsk Governorate". Handwritten glosses; long gloss on leaf 61/2. R. Yehuda Leib Estrin, Av Beit Din Shchedrin (ca. 1847- 1912); among the Chassidim of the "Tzemach Tzedek", the Rebbe Maharash and the Rebbe Rashab of Lubavitch. Following the instructions of the Rebbe Rashab, he established ca. 1909 a branch of the Tomchei Tmimim Yeshivah in his home town of Shchedrin. R. Estrin stood in close contact with Rabbi Chaim Hezekiah Medini, author of the "Sede Chemed", corresponding with him on various Halachic matters. His unpublished manuscript, "Afik Yehuda", was lost during WWII. Some of his Torah novellae and halachic responsa were printed in several Responsa collections, in the "Sede Chemed" books, and in issues of the periodical "HaModia", published in Poltava.


117, 116-117 ff. Approx. 20 cm. Blue and greenish paper. Good-fair condition. Stains, including large dampstains and dark stains, and severe ink stains to some 30 ff. at the end of the volume. Wear. Minor tears and worming. Leaves unevenly trimmed. Stamps and inscriptions. New binding.
