Collection of Documents and "Ephemera" Artifacts – "Yishuv" Period, Before 1948
About 105 documents, proclamations, brochures and ephemera items from the Yishuv period until the establishment of the State of Israel.
Items include: "Maccabi" Berlin member cards with fine stamps; blank certificate of the second Maccabiah in 1935; labels, notes and tickets for various events; "Levant Fair" leaflets / "Newsletter of the Eretz Israel and Middle East Fair"; menu of "Coffee shop and restaurant of newcomers from Poland"; proclamation against the photographer Aroshkes regarding his habit to open his shop on Shabbat; receipt for a donation to "Beit HaMaccabi Tel-Aviv", 1933; The text of the Independence Scroll published by Defus Limudi; Jerusalem (produced by the apprentices in the printing press); "musical postcard" (45 rpm) with recording of the Declaration of Independence and "HaTikvah"; and additional items.
