A Collection of Erzgebirge Style Hand-Painted Wooden Flower Children Figurines - This is a collection of vintage hand-painted wooden figurines, characteristic of the folk art from the Erzgebirge region of Germany. Each figure depicts a child-like character standing on a green circular base, holding a stylized, oversized botanical element. The figures are constructed from turned and carved wood with hand-painted details, and the flower stems are fashioned from wire. The assortment includes a boy in a black hat with a buttercup, a girl in a blue polka-dot dress with bleeding hearts, a boy in a red cap with a watering can and tall flower, a girl in a sunhat with bell-shaped flowers, a boy in a brown peaked hat with white buds, and a small child with snowdrops. The undersides of the bases are plain, light-coloured wood with a central hole from the turning process. A small, dark rectangular stamp is present on the base of one figurine but is not clearly legible, though it is consistent with stamps from East German workshops such as VEB Erzgebirge.
