A classic work on the laws of blessings widely cited by later authorities. With twenty six approbations from the most prominent Aschkenazic and Sephardic Rabbis of the period.


R. Hayyim Bochner (1609-84) was born into one of the wealthiest Jewish families in Cracow, where he established a free rabbinical school in his own home. Later in life, he served the Austrian communities of Ebenfurth and Lackenbach. After the expulsion of 1670, he settled in Fürth, where he lived until his death.
