Nachlath Tzvi [commentary to Shulchan Aruch - Even Ha’Ezer].

FIRST EDITION.

With 21 important haskomos including:

R. Shabthai Sheftel Horowitz (son of the Shela’h HaKadosh), R. Aharon Shmuel Kaidanover, The Darshan of Prague R. Moshe Levi and most notably, the Tosfos Yomtov, R. Yomtov Lipman Heller. Lengthy manuscript on final page.

ff. (2), 134. Stained in places, upper corner of opening five leaves with loss affecting few words, final four leaves with worming affecting some text. Recent gilt-tooled crushed morocco. Folio.

Vinograd, Venice 1352.

Venice, Bragadin, 1661.

Issued on the 100th anniversary of the printing of the Shulchan Aruch. The author was involved in controversy due to false accusations of plagiarism. Consequently the many Haskamos here, including the Tosfos Yom-Tov himself, seek to validate the integrity of the Author.
