Group of 2 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging! From 1984-1985 with 20 Coins Inside!. Group of 2 United State Mint Set from 1984-1985 included a total of 20 coins. Starting 1984 the outer envelopes would feature colorful illustrations or images that would change each year of offering. This was a change from the plain white envelopes that had been used for the Mint Sets of the past two decades. Both set included the P&D Kennedy Half Dollars, P&D Washington Quarters, P&D Roosevelt Dimes, P&D Jefferson Nickels, and P&D Lincoln Cents. Completing the set were two mint tokens struck in copper plated bronze. These tokens contained the letter “P” and “D” to represent each mint facility. The 1984 Mint Set packaging had upper dark brown and lower light brown colors separated by red, white, and blue. The outside of the envelope had printing “1984 Uncirculated Coin Set”, “United States Mint”, and the mint marks “D” and “P”. The 1985 Mint Set envelope featured a wood grain background with images of each of the five denominations. Printing indicated “1985 Uncirculated Coin Set”, “D and P Mint Marks”, “United States Mint”.
