Group of 2 United States Mint Proof Sets 1983-1984 10 coins. Group of 2 United States Proof Sets 1983-1984 10 coins. Each Set contains 5 coins Kennedy Half Dollar, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. We did not check for the 1983 “No S” Roosevelt Dimes were mint error. This error occurred as it had in the past and created a premium for any discoveries, trend pr69DCAM $875. For 1983 each proof coin was fit into a slot, which was sealed in a rigid clear plastic holder. An outer black plastic piece served to protect or display the set. The outer cardboard box was blue and open at the top. For 1984 each proof coin was fit into a slot, which was sealed in a rigid clear plastic holder. An our purple plastic piece served to protect or display the set. The outer cardboard box is purple and opens at the top.
