LITERATURE - DAUDET Alphonse (1840 - 1897) - Autograph letter signed - Recognised late in his lifetime, he was a novelist, storyteller, playwright and poet. He suffered from being trapped by the success of Lettres de mon Moulin and Tartarin de Tarascon. And the children have not finished crying over Monsieur Seguin's Goat.
