Royal Doulton Limited Edition Jug, Charles Dickens
Glossy hand painted raised scene of Charles Dickens most popular characters. The figures are very similar to those based on the designs of Joseph Clayton Clark or Kyd.
The rim is a continuous coaching scene, the lip is a mask of Dickens’ head and the handle shows an open book inscribed Dickens Master of Smiles and Tears. In raised letters above the base is Lord Keep My Memory Green. Signed Noke by the handle. This item has no reserve.
