Original antique watercolor and ink on paper of a French dance certificate. It depicts two dancing couples on a Neo-Classical theatre stage with a landscape background. Amour, Gloire a Dieu, Honneur a Terpsichore, and Folies are written on the columns and between angels. Below the four dancers, a partial signature, 39eme regiment de Ligne, Brevet de Prevot de Danse. Housed under a beige mat. Artwork dimensions: 14.75"L x 11"H. Mat size: 18.75"L x 16"H.
