Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

Three Small Pocket Watches in Gold Cases
Comprising: a watch by Elgin in a hunter case by Dueber with markings for 10k gold, a watch by W. C Huguenin & Co., Locle in an unmarked gold case, and a watch by Trenton Watch Co. in a gold case marked "CG" with miniature landscape and other decorations including a hobnail edge.
Dimensions: The total approximate gross weight of the lot is 6.75 ozt, diameters range from 42mm to 48mm

Condition:
Overall good, the Swiss example has bent hands, a cracked dial and crystal and some dents to the case, the Trenton example has a cracked dial none are currently running.
