An English Rococo Style Carved Rosewood and Needlepoint Upholstered Stool, 20th Century
The rectangular top is covered fully upholstered with a large recumbent Cavalier King Charles Spaniel worked in needlepoint, raised on carved cabriole legs with scroll feet.
Dimensions: Height 15in; width 33 1/2in; depth 25 1/2in.
Provenance: From a Philadelphia Estate.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Typical marks, wear, nicks and abrasions to legs and feet. the needlepoint is in generally good condition overall. Minor stains and surface dirt to upholstery, otherwise good condition.
