Rabbi Shlomo Klein was a disciple of the
Ksav Sofer, Rabbi Leibish Han of Dobitschau and of Rabbi Shlomo Kvetch of Nikolsburg. Son-in-law of Rabbi Yoel Unger – Rabbi of Paks, where R. Shlomo served as Dayan before being appointed Rabbi of Zenta (1865).
Rabbi Yehuda Sofer was a son of the famous Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer – Rabbi of Halas and Paks, and a disciple of the
Shevet Sofer, as well as of his father and grandfather. Taught Torah in Vienna before being appointed Rabbi in Oroszvar, Gyömöre (1899), Nadi-szt-Miklos and in 1905 re-established the orthodox community in Arad. Author of
Mateh Yehuda.
