Rabbi Chaim Stein (1912-2011), a leading student of the Yeshiva in Telz in Lithuania, who headed a group who escaped the Holocaust travelling to America via Siberia. He later became one of the Roshei Hayeshiva of the Telz Yeshiva in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
