Letter dated 1907, sharply criticising R. Yaakov Gordon,
‘according to the letters in my possession, your honour did not act correctly in this matter’.
Rabbi Meir Don Plotzky (1866-1928) was born in Kutna and studied under Rabbi Chaim Elazar Waks of Kalish and his son-in-law Rabbi Yisrael Yehoshua of Kutna, and also under the Avnei Nezer of Sochatchov. He was a staunch adherent of the Rebbes of Ger. Rabbi of Warta and Rosh Yeshiva at the Mesifta in Warsaw and leading Polish rabbinical figure. Author of Chemdas Yisrael and Klei Chemda and other rabbinic works.
