Letter dated 1932, pleading for the Rabbi of Galanta to pray for his seriously ill son, movingly describing his illness and suffering from the disease. Rabbi Avraham Stern (1884-1944), disciple of Rabbi Moshe Yosef of Papa, and of the Rabbis of Szemihaly, Unsdorf, Chust and Pressburg. Son-in-law of Rabbi Yosef Tiegerman of Neuhausel (Nove Zamky), where Rabbi Avraham served as Dayan. Author of many rabbinic works, including Melitzei Eish. Rabbi Yehoshua Buksbaum (1877-1944), disciple of Rabbi Moshe Yosef Hoffman of Papa and of Rabbi Shmuel Rosenberg of Unsdorf. Rabbi of Magendorf (1910) and Galanta (1922), where he headed a large and famous Yeshiva. Author of Or Penei Yehoshua. 1 side. 23 x 29 cm. Very good condition.
