Raised automatic safety with gold inlaid ‘SAFE’, the top lever blued and finely engraved, striker discs, fences highlighted with channelling engraving adorned with foliate to fern engraving. Lovely. Very fine foliate engraving throughout with a rhombic feature to each lock; ‘STEPHEN GRANT & SONS’ modestly engraved. Replaced nitro-barrels, the rib engraved ‘PATENT EJECTOR’ and gold inlaid ‘1’, the tubes 'STEPHEN GRANT & SONS. 7, BURY STREET. ST. JAMES'S, LONDON. ENGLAND.'
