A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Bristol Glazed Three Gallon Stoneware Storage Crock - This is a large cylindrical stoneware storage vessel, commonly used for pantry storage or pickling. The piece is finished in a light tan or buff-coloured Bristol glaze, which provides a smooth, semi-glossy surface. The exterior body features several evenly spaced horizontal incised bands. The crock is fitted with two side-mounted lug handles. An impressed capacity mark is located on the upper portion of the body, consisting of the numeral 3 followed by a smaller character resembling a G, indicating a volume of three gallons. Capacity: 3 Gallons.
