Two large late 19th or early 20th century ceramic serving platters including a well and tree meat dish - Two large oval ceramic serving platters of traditional form, likely produced in the Staffordshire region of England during the late Victorian or Edwardian period. The first platter is fashioned from cream-coloured earthenware or ironstone and features a brown transfer-printed border with a repeating stylized foliate motif, accented by a hand-applied pink line to the rim. The second platter is a white earthenware well and tree meat dish, designed with moulded drainage channels shaped like a tree that lead to a recessed well for collecting juices. It is decorated with a single red pinstripe around the edge. Neither piece displays visible maker's marks or backstamps in the provided images.
