It is topped with a white metal lid, likely pewter, with a corresponding thumb lift. The second stein is constructed with a clear glass body featuring a wheel-engraved woodland scene depicting a stag. This example includes additional white metal mounts, specifically a decorative foot ring and handle attachment, both featuring beaded borders that match the lid.
