No reserve. A painted tinplate model of a Vanguard London double-decker open-top bus - A painted tinplate model of a vintage London Vanguard double-decker open-top motor bus. The model is finished in a traditional red livery with cream and black accents, styled after early 20th-century public transport vehicles. It features a detailed open upper deck with three rows of bench seating and a rear spiral staircase. The front of the vehicle includes a driver's compartment with a steering wheel and a gold-coloured radiator surround. The bus sits on four red spoked wheels with black rims. The side panel bears a printed label reading MOTOR EXHIBITION OLYMPIA and an adjacent panel with the word MERCEDES in yellow capital letters. The main chassis side panel features the word VANGUARD in black lettering with a yellow outline, preceded by a logo featuring a stylised four-bladed propeller. A service label reads SERVICE 5 with the number 5 enclosed in a circle. The destination board lists HAMPSTEAD HEATH, CAMDEN TOWN, OXFORD STREET, CHARING CROSS, and VICTORIA STATION. The construction is of painted sheet metal and appears to be a decorative reproduction piece rather than an early 20th-century toy. There are no visible manufacturer marks or labels.
