No reserve. A Singer Manufacturing Co. hand-cranked sewing machine manufactured in Great Britain - A British-made hand-cranked domestic sewing machine. The cast iron body features a black japanned finish decorated with gold-toned Victorian-style scrollwork and floral decals. A printed inscription on the top of the arm reads ”The Singer Manufacturing Co.” and ”Manufactured in Great Britain.”, while the name ”SINGER” appears in large gold-toned characters across the centre of the arm. The machine is mounted on a simple rectangular wooden base. Mechanical components include a large spoked chrome-plated handwheel with a folding wooden handle, a needle bar, presser foot, and a side-mounted bobbin winder mechanism. A small rectangular brass identification plate is attached to the right side of the bed, although the embossed characters are not clearly legible.
