A Collection of Mineral and Geological Specimens - A collection of geological and mineral specimens of various sizes and compositions. The assortment features a reddish-brown 'Desert Rose' selenite rosette and a spiky crystalline gypsum or selenite cluster. Included are several specimens of quartz or calcite, ranging from translucent white to yellowish-white. One crystalline piece is a deep blue colour. The group also contains multiple igneous rock samples with phaneritic textures, including examples with pink and grey mottling consistent with granite or feldspar. There are several dark, botryoidal specimens with a metallic lustre, and a variety of polished or water-worn pebbles in earth tones. A dark specimen on the far left bears a small, square, white adhesive label with the handwritten figure '5.00'.
