A Polished Metal Russian Samovar - A Russian samovar constructed from polished, silver-toned metal, likely nickel-plated brass. The vessel features a bulbous body with a pair of scrolled side handles fitted with black-turned grips. A tap assembly is mounted to the front of the body. The piece stands on a square, stepped pedestal base supported by four ornate, cast feet. A perforated crown extension sits atop the lid. A series of impressed markings are visible on the front of the body; however, the characters are not legible. The samovar's design is consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century Soviet production.
