A large-scale wooden model of HMS Victory in a glass display case. No reserve. - A large-scale wooden model of HMS Victory, representing the three-deck first-rate ship of the line launched in 1765. The model is constructed with a planked wooden hull finished in a warm varnish, featuring three tiers of gun ports with protruding cannon barrels. The vessel is fully rigged across three masts, complete with yards, white fabric sails, and complex standing and running rigging lines. The deck and exterior are fitted with various miniature components including a detailed transom stern gallery, railings, and bow anchors. The model flies the White Ensign from the stern and additional flags from the mastheads. The ship is mounted on a two-pillar turned wooden stand fixed to a rectangular polished wooden plinth. The entire piece is housed within a custom-made rectangular glass display case with a dark wood frame and a red felt-lined base. A small black plaque with gold-toned lettering is fixed to the front of the wooden base, reading HMS VICTORY and Launched 1765. A small white tag is attached to the rigging, featuring a handwritten £ symbol followed by numbers which are not clearly legible.
