A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE AND TURQUOISE GROUND BOWLS, 20TH CENTURY. Each with apocryphal six character underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark, decorated with pomegranates, peaches and peony issuing from vases, the reverse with a verse in black script flanked by three seal marks in blue, below a gilt line rim. 17.9cm diam. max. (2)
Provenance
Property of an English Gentleman, acquired in Taiwan in the 1970s. Overall in good order, each with minute wear to gilding and enamels.
